Hey guys! Every year Sara and I have certain wardrobe summer wardrobe staples that we turn to when we want to look chic, fashionable, and cool during the summer. By cool, I mean cooled down. It gets crazy hot & humid in Ohio, and we ain’t got no time for that!
One of our first staples, and one that comes up every summer is a cute tank, and denim shorts. It’s what you will typically see Sara wearing on any given day when it gets hot outside. Cute tanks are a MUST in the heat, and the denim shorts help you beat the heat, and look cute as well. Sara is pretty much showing exactly what we’re talking about in this past look.
Kimonos! I love wearing kimonos in the spring and summer months. They’re great to later over a tank top, plus they’re lightweight so you won’t get hot, and still look chic!
<Lightweight Patterned capri’s. We both love wearing these kinds of pants in the spring and summer months. They’re lighter than denim, and oh so comfortable!
Adorable Sandals – Sandals are a staple for both of us in the summer. We like to find ones that are cute, bright, and unique, plus they have to be comfortable of course!
Sleeveless denim – Denim goes with just about anything, and besides shorts, we think that sleeveless denim is the way to go in the summer.
Maxi skirts & bright acessories – Summer is all about being cool, and wearing lighter clothes for us, so maxi’s definitely fit the bill. We love that you can find them in so many great colors and patterns to fit your style. We also love jazzing up our summer outfits with bright summer accessories like this orange purse Sara has.
Workout gear – Great work out clothing is more important than ever during the summer. We always make sure to go with breathable tanks & sports bras to help keep us dry and comfortable while we’re sweating our tooshies off.
