Hey guys! This week we’re trying to get back into our blogging groove after Sara’s mom, and my crazy work schedule. We definitely didn’t forget you guys, we just have to get our whole schedule worked out and adjusted again. Especially after something like this effects Sara’s family & work etc. Enough of that though, for this weeks Wearable Wednesday I’m taking a look back at my colored denim obsession! I tend to wear jeggings and colored denim a lot because I love bright colors. For me bright pants is the perfect way to show off my love of color without getting overboard. So here are 5 ways that I style colored denim, and some techniques to help you look bright, and fabulous!
Pinch free – This is the type of way I like to “dress up” my colored denim by going for a more “fancy” top and accessories.
Casual Purple – I like to use my lighter colored denim like these pastel purple ones to create a monochromatic/semi monochromatic look. I paired these pants with other shades or purple & pink in my look. The color is a bit subtle but it totally works.
Minty Technology – Sometimes I like to make a “theme” with my colors. In this case I paired the mint green jeans with orange for a cool summer color look.
The Arts – Wearing colored denim is one of my favorites ways to brighten up a regular graphic tee. It’s such a simple thing, but I get compliments on it a lot. It’s way cooler than just plain jeans, and makes me very happy!
Neon Stars – This is how I typically wear my colored denim in the fall. I’ve been getting into more graphic sweaters since last fall and I love pairing them with my colored jeans. It’s the same basic concept as wearing a tee and colored denim, only this is more appropriate for fall weather.
